Little Stars Childcare is a day nursery based in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees.
Little Stars opened in 2021 with the aim of providing flexible and affordable childcare. We are Ofsted Registered with a GOOD rating in all areas which we achieved in March 2023. click on the link below to read our inspection details.
Opening hours
we are open 7.00am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
We are open 51 weeks per year, closing for 1 week at Christmas
We close for all bank holidays.
Our Rooms
At Little Stars we have 3 play spaces.
Baby Room
This play space is for our youngest children starting from 6 months to walking. this space is calm and cosy providing children time to explore and build confidence.
Toddler Room
This space is for our walkers and talkers! this space is exciting and designed to spark children’s curiosity.
Pre School Room
This space is for our oldest children. This room is designed to support children gain their independence and encourage a life long love of learning!
Outdoor Play areas
At Little Stars we are lucky enough to have two separate outdoor play spaces. We have a fully enclosed pay space at the back of our building that allows children the opportunity to pay outside each day. Our Team provide fun and exciting activities to encourage children to run, jump, skip and physically move developing their gross motor skills.
Our second outdoor play space is a fully enclosed vegetable and flower garden. In this space children learn all about how our food grows. We plant and eat the vegetables we grow. We learn and discover all about out local wildlife, from humming bees to fluttering butterflies each day brings new opportunities to learn.
